Denise explained that women need to switch up their workouts in order to lose weight and maintain muscle.  He suggested weight training, cardio and stretch.  "Some strength training with toning, little time training on cardio for fat burning and flexibility from the whole body," she recommended.  A pioneer in VHS workouts and incredibly fit at 62, Dennis reveals his fitness routine, and says he still drinks and treats, and you can too!

"I always drown in a workout no matter where I am, because even in a hotel room, in a space of four feet you can do these things. I do leg lifts, I do yoga stretches  And I drink a lot of water and I enjoy my healing! "Denise admitted." I eat well 80% of the time and I have 20% of the time. And my 20% is a few nights a  Can be red wine. I  Eats well and I believe in balance and I like to eat a lot. So it's really important that I exercise so that I can really feel good about myself! "

Denise Austin has been a leading presence in the fitness space for nearly four decades now and given that she is as fit as she was at 62, one or two things about maintaining her fitness to get to age  She knows.

The fitness instructor recently sat down with AOL to share some of the most important tips for people in their 40s, 50s and 60s, revealing some handy things that people who are hoping to live healthy lifestyles  They can kickstart changes.

Austin told AOL, "When a lot of people hit 50, they give up. They think it's too hard, they can't do it."  "I think this is the best time to get fit."

The former "Getting Fit With Dennis Austin" host went on to explain that, depending on your age, there are different approaches that you should take for the types of workouts you want to include in your routine.

"In your 20s and 30s, you are naturally good and fit, but then by the age of 40, you really need to do some fat burning workouts, some cardio, some HIIT workouts," she said.  said.  "By 50, you should make some goals to strengthen those 640 muscles. You have some time: take care of your health! And then in the 60s and beyond, stretching and flexibility and balance and stability exercises are predominant  . "
